
Ovative Group 2020 Intern Spotlight Series
2020 was a crucial year Ovative culture. The COVID-19 pandemic brought about the need to go virtual with all client work— Ovative’s summer internship. When most organizations were pulling back resources, positions, and clients, Ovative was innovating new ways to bring in team members and make the internship a success despite the circumstances.
The Story.
As the fearless interns jumped all in to Ovative’s first-ever virtual summer internship, the marketing team recognized that this year’s intern class reflected Ovative’s commitments to the core: Driven, Accountable, Genuine, and Engaged. With 54% of the intern class identifying as POC, 63% as female, and 100% from unique hometowns such as India, New York, and a multitude of locations in between, these interns truly showcase Ovative’s emphasis on diversity and inclusion—bringing them in on work, even in a pandemic-ridden world— that couldn’t not be showcased.
